UK Green Investment Bank announces appointment of Chief Risk Officer

The UK Green Investment Bank plc (GIB) today announces the appointment of Jacqueline Redmond as Chief Risk Officer.

Jacqueline joins GIB from Royal Dutch Shell where she most recently held the position of Head of Commercial Power, based at Shell’s headquarters in The Hague.

She started her career at ScottishPower where she held a number of roles including UK Energy Risk Director and Director, Corporate Strategy.

A graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Jacqueline also served as a Non-Executive Director of Transport Scotland between 2006 and 2010.

She will be responsible for ensuring that GIB establishes and maintains an effective risk management framework, supporting the board’s strategy and risk appetite. Jacqueline will report to GIB's Chief Executive, Shaun Kingsbury.
